Final Transfer

Hey everyone!

Just had transfers today. My companion Elder Harmer got transferred to one of my old areas, El Rey. My new and final companion is Elder Divis! He goes home one transfer after I do, he is a stud missionary. Neither of us were expecting this at all but we are both feeling blessed lol. I'm super excited! It'll be an awesome final six weeks. 

During this past week, we had our basketball night again but this time, the place was packed. We had 28 people come and play, 21 of which were non members. An inactive kid and his parents both came to church on Sunday because of it and will now be singing with us missionaries for a Easter musical number in church. Some other members came and gave church tours to the people who were waiting for their next game. It was awesome!

We also went to Salvation Mountain up in Slab City to film a little video for the mission's facebook page. Good week!

Stake Conference

We had Stake Conference this weekend up in El Centro. My companion and I accidentally joined the stake choir and sang. President and Sister Merritt were in town for Stake Conference, so they had lunch with all of us missionaries on Sunday. The senior couple out here in the Valley, Elder and Sister Ringle, invited us and the other Calexico elders to their house for my birthday Sunday night. One more week till transfers!

Heating Up

Another good week! We've been keeping busy with finding new people to teach through knocking doors in apartment complexes. Here's a few pics! It's starting to get a little warm here! Summer is coming, but at least i won't be here when it's 120 degrees!

Snow In Ocotillo

Well we had Zone Conference this week, and afterwards on the drive through the mountains back to Calexico from San Diego we got to see some snow! We pulled over, took some pictures, and had a little snowball fight.
